SXSW Title ‘Don’t Leave Home’ Acquired For Distribution By Good Deed Entertainment

This comes with more news as GDE’s Brandon Hill was recently promoted from Director to Executive Director, Acquisitions & Distribution at GDE. It was Hill and XYZ Films’ Pip Ngo who brokered the deal. A theatrical release is planned for late fall or early winter.
Don’t Leave Home is described as “an atmospheric, unpredictable, psycho-religious horror film” which is about an American artist obsessed with a disturbing Irish urban legend. Obsessed with the origin of the myth, the artist ends up inside the estate of a reclusive painter in Ireland.
“We are thrilled to be involved with the release of Don’t Leave Home. The filmmaking team has crafted a unique genre story that has an unsettling elegance and thoughtfulness that is sure to leave audiences chilled to the bone,” said GDE’s CEO & Founder, Scott Donley.
The film stars Anna Margaret Hollyman (Sleeping with Other People), Helena Bereen (Hunger), and Lalor Roddy (Grabbers) and is produced by Jeffrey Allard (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Walter S. Hall (Entertainment), George M. Rush (Sorry To Bother You), and Ryan Zacarias (A Ciambra).
